Configuring AUM

Introduction

The following article contains information on how to configure the Atomic Update Mananger AUM.

Ruleset Settings

  • These allow you to enable/disable entire Rulesets and classes of rules. For ASL users, if you want to configure a specific rule, use the ASL Rule Manager.

    For aum users, you will need to make changes to this configuration file:

    /etc/asl/config

    Once you make ANY changes to this file, run the following command as root to apply changes to your configuration file:

    aum -uf
